ABOUT US
January 23rd 1967 marked the birth of this great school in the Diocese of Lagos. It is the third amongst the existing Our Lady of Apostles Primary Schools in Lagos.
The school is designed for all categories of the human race and status hence, the school fees was and is still very minimal as compared to other schools of its standard in the environ so as to make it affordable for even the less privileged.
The school used part of the former St. Agnes teachers training blocks as there were no building on ground. Time and age brought expansion to the school.
Rev. Sr. Comgall Miligan, Mrs. Shesegbon, Mrs. Beckley to mention a few groomed the school until Mrs. F.J Okunribido was brought in to the team in 1968 to be the first Headmistress.
In 1970 the new enviable building started, completed and opened in 1972. It was the first of its kind in Lagos that it was mistaken for a university then. The building initially had 18 classrooms apart from the Administrative block and the Nursery section. The school exhibits modern touch of education with room allocated to Creative Art, Home Economics, library Science and Computer laboratories highly te in education, equipped.
The classrooms are spacious and well ventilated. The compound is large with display of horticultural designs. The atmosphere is very unique and conducive for learning. The school initially ran six years program from primary 1 to primary 6. The first set of our school leavers graduated in 1972 with many awards.
Today there are six building within the school premises with a big hall. The programme includes: Creche, Pre School and Primary 1-6. The attractiveness of the school environment ranging from neatness, playgrounds, football field, basket ball court, spacious and ventilated classrooms, high moral discipline and above all academic excellence contribution to the teaming population of the school.
The school has turn out great scholars who hold key position and enviable posts in the society. Qualified teachers with national certificate in Education, first degree and the like can tell the quality of education that operates here.
The school does not limit her knowledge to classroom work alone. The pupils are exposed to co-curricular activities, exhibition of arts and culture, debate, T.V programs, sports,excurtion, visits to the less privileged, Spiritual exercises (MCA) etc.
The school uniform is brown and cream, brown Cortina white/brown school’s customized socks.

1971 | 21st | July | The School prepared pupils for the Sacrament of first Holy Communion, 50 candidates were successful. |
| 10th | June | A meeting was held for the proposed primary school building by Archbishop J.K. Aggey and the contractors represented by Mr. Guinness. |
1972 | 28th | January | The School building was completed with 18 classes in the primary section and 7 classes in the Nursery section. The building was blessed and commissioned by Rev. Fr. J. Morrison, SMA.

1975 | 22nd | February | The school participated in the Lagos State Entrance Examination for the 1st time. |
1981 | 13th | November | The school held her 1st Open Day |
1983 | 28th | January | The school held her 1st Inter House Sport Festival |
1986 | 30th | May | The school engaged for the 1st time in the first school leaving certificate examination. |
1991 | 11th | October | Mrs. Osugo H.N took over the seat of the headmistress from Mrs. Okuribido F.J. |
