Vendor's Visit
On June 19th 2025, the indomie group visited the school with lots of fun and entertainment just for their club members. it was indeed a packed funfill event with lots of exciting games.
Canonical Visit of the Apostolate
May 15th, 2025 marked a remarkable day in the school, the day the Provincial Superior (Rev. Sr. Josephine Enemoh) and her assistant (Rev. Sr. Jacinta Oye) officially visited the school . They were warmly welcomed by the management, Staff and pupil of the school in different languages.
She ensured she visited all classes, gave listening ears to teachers and pupils to ensure a proper growth and development of the school.
Afterwards, there was a gathering at the school hall to give them a befitting welcoming where various presentations (by the French club, pupils of nursery 2 and primary 1, red cross etc) and a performance (by the cultural troop). An interview was carried out with her by the press club.
Gifts items rolled in by the PTA, School welfare, School management, and parents.
It was indeed an unforgettable event which we hope reoccurs again.
Red Cross Camping
The Red Cross Society of the school which is registered with the Association of Nigeria Red Cross Society Lagos State Branch, had a camping held on 22nd – 25th 2025 which was held by the Nigerian Red Cross Society Kosofe division Lagos State Branch on thier 22nd Annual Division Training and Camp held at Sam O’ High School.
Interested members with some staff attended the camp which was very educative and fun filled.
The theme of the camping was: Be the change, empowering red cross youth to become active humanitarian leaders.
EX PUPIL'S VISITATION
27th March, 2025 marked a memorable day to the school as one of the alma mata of the school for over forty one years ago came to celebrate his golden jubilee anniversary in the school, a first of its kind.
He (Dr. Mr. Oluseyi Atanda) alongside some of his friends also alma matas’ visited the School.
Histories were shared, gifts items were donated to the school.
in advance, Rev. Sr. Margaret told them about the forthcoming 60th anniversary of the school which comes up in year 2027 23rd January.
ETIQUETTE DAY
On 21st day of March, 2025, the school organized a tea party for her primary 4 – 6 pupils at different sessions. This session was anchored by the Etiquette Poise and Protocol Resource Academy.
At each session, the pupils were taught how and when to use the tea cup, saucer, tea spoon, side plate etc. Also on how to eat snack.
This poem portrays the session.
We stir our tea noiselessly
We dont sip our tea with a spoon
We dont drag our cup with fist
We dont blow into our tea
We drink our tea when it is cool
We hold our saucer on the left hand and drink with our right hand
We nite, chew and swallow before you sip your tea,
That is tea etiquette for you.
Birth day
23rd January, 2025 marked the 58th birth day of our great institution.
She has produced and still producing great people of timber and caliber in the society.
On this day, she turned 58 years (wow, a woman with lots of children of over 1, 200). it was a worth while celebration as learners sang praises to her through peoms, compositions, drama, etc.
